The Bucket List

I wrote this back in 2008 when I graduated University. Can't believe how many I get to check off now. Love setting goals for myself :) #loveontop #europecountdown #goals #sugarandbliss #volunteer #bucketlist

Back in 2008 after I graduated University, I started writing goals for myself. Fast forward to 2012 and I can't believe how many goals/dreams I get to check off.

1) I need a job that challenges me - checked this off when I got hired at one of the 4 Big Firms in the World. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work for Ernst & Young...especially since I'm putting my Econ degree to good use lol.

2) I want to see the world - since I graduated I've been to the Philippines, Mexico, New York, Miami, Vegas (x4 lol), Orlando, & LA.

3) I need a stand up Guy - checked for almost 4 years!

4) I need to set goals - check....obviously lol

5) If I could go to one place in the entire world, it would be Italy, NY, Japan, Paris, London & Hawaii - NY check. Italy & Paris will be checked off in March! Ahhhh dreams really do come true :)

6) Learn how to cook - moving out on my own I was forced to learn! But cooking is really fun & if you know me, then you know I LOVE my food.

7) Volunteer for more Charities - volunteering has always been a passion of mine. Currently, I am a Big Sister for Big Sisters & Big Brothers of Calgary and a volunteer Teacher for Junior Achievement.

8) Cake Decorating Class - I took this class with my Big Sister 2 years ago. Since then we've received orders for Weddings, Birthdays, Stagettes and Baby Showers. Our dream is to open a bakery one day called Sugar & Bliss :)

9) Buy an SLR and learn Photography - the best present I ever received was my SLR for my 25th Birthday. Thank you Mom & Daddy! I have been featured on The New Yorker blog and won the Christmas Card contest, where my photos were featured in the Ernst & Young Holiday card. I still haven't taken a Photography class but I've got DBS to help me along the way ;)

10) Become a Teacher - this has always always always been my dream. I keep thinking its going to happen one day but really it already has. If you read my other goal above, I'm actually a Volunteer Teacher for Junior Achievement. Even if it's not a full time job I LOVE that I get to do it. Thank you to all the kids I've taught, you've made me so happy!

So what are your goals? Write them down and see what happens.

Xoxo Janey
