Trump Chicago

The Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago was absolutely amazing! This hotel definitely deserves its 5 stars rating. From the minute you step inside the hotel to check in, they're already offering you hot lemon grass towels to freshen up. The location couldn’t get any better, right off Magnificent Mile and in walking distance of all the tourist attractions like Millennium Park and The Bean. The best part was definitely the staff, from the bell man to the front desk concierge, you were always taken care of. They even offer free car service, which meant arriving for "The Book of Mormon" in a Cadillac. The restaurant on the 16th floor provides incredible views of the city, you might recognize the buildings featured in The Dark Knight. Oh and you might just be lucky enough to spot some celebrities, for us it was Dave Chapelle :)

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

My cousins & I flew to Vegas for the Watch the Throne Concert and to celebrate my cousin's 30th Birthday. We decided to stay at the Cosmo, the newest hotel on the Vegas strip. The hotel was really nice and the lobby alone was stunning. After checking in, my BF & I were walking to the elevator with my Brother & his Wife until we both realized we were given the SAME room. After waiting, we got a new room, while they kept the original one, which was upgraded and absolutely beautiful. Yes, they got the nice upgraded room but since it was their first vacation since having a baby, they definitely deserved it. Plus the standard room we got was still really nice, and come on, it's Vegas, how long do people stay in their room anyway?

Here are some photos of the Cosmo. You should definitely check out the Wicked Spoon Buffet, the food options were endless and delicious. Also, the Chandelier Bar was absolutely gorgeous.

New Yorker Hotel

Among hotels in New York, the New Yorker has an amazing location and everyone was super helpful. While we were waiting to check in, we were welcomed by sexy men in uniform, (see picture below for your viewing pleasure) courtesy of the NYFD. Our room was quite small, considering the last room we stayed at was a deluxe suite at the Encore in Vegas, but other than that I have no complaints. Plus we were always out sightseeing so we were never really in our room anyway. Everything was near by so cab rides were cheap, Times Square was walking distance and the big tourist attractions (Statue of Liberty, Yankee Stadium, etc.) were only a subway ride away. Oh and the best part about staying at this hotel? The Tick Tock Diner located in the lobby. Delicious!
