Shine Cafe in Victoria, BC is a lovely little cafe open for breakfast & lunch. The food took a really long time to come out so thank goodness we got there early. I got the Nemo eggs benedict, which was delicious. You can never go wrong with smoked salmon & avocado :)

I've always wanted to eat at Serendipity 3, just because I love the movie. You know, the movie with Kate Beckinsale, John Cusack, New York City and a pair of cashmere gloves from Bloomingdales. Such a classic! Anyways, I even had Serendipity on my bucket list for New York but we ran out of time and never got to go. During my recent trip to Vegas, I finally got to try the restaurant. It's really popular so I recommend making reservations. Oh and try the Onion Rings and the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. Mmmmm!

Whale Watching

What an amazing, incredible experience. I can't believe how close we got to this humpback whale!
Even though she probably weighs about 80,000 lbs, she moved so gracefully in and out of the water.
Oh Fergie, your humps, your humps, your lovely lady lumps.

If you're ever in Victoria, check out Prince of Whales. Everyone is so friendly & helpful, you won't be disappointed :)

This has been one of the BEST weddings I've ever been to! Every thing looked like it was straight out of Green Weddings Shoes. From the different colored Bridesmaid dresses, to the rustic barn, to the printed window frames, to the homemade pies, everything was just absolutely amazing. I loved every single detail. Congrats Kristi & Iain. I'm so glad I got to fly home to be at your beautiful wedding. My Brother's Best Friend got married at Hatley Castle on Vancouver Island. Looks familiar? Well, it's actually Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in the X-Men movie. What a dope wedding venue!
